Bio Pharmazeutika Werden

Bio pharmazeutika are medicines that are made using living cells. They are used to treat a variety of ailments and diseases. They are the most recent generation of drugs and their development requires a variety of technical skills. They are created from a variety of sources including human cells, pig cells, and plants cells. Gene technology is also utilized to create them.

Traditional medications are created by a variety of chemical processes, while biopharmazeutika are manufactured by using biological techniques which involve living organisms, like yeasts and bacteria. They can also be created using cell extracts like fibroblasts or animal cells. The benefit of this kind of medicine is that it can be manufactured quicker than conventional drugs and they can be tailored to the genetic and molecular profile of individual patients also known as personalised medicine.

Biopharmazeutika is different from traditional pharmaceuticals that affect the entire body system, is able to interact with specific cell pathways. This means that they are able to target specific cancers as well as other disorders more effectively than conventional medications. Examples include monoklonale Antikorper, such as Rituximab which is used to treat rheumatoid joint and some types of breast cancer by binding to the HER2 molecules on cancer cells and stop them from growing. Immunotherapies, as well as vaccines, also fall under this category as they trigger the immune system to create antibodies to fight certain diseases.
